MAKE A THREE LEGGED STOOL

We’re excited to announce our first online class! Join us from your own home and jump into making a project that’s fun and useful. This course is full of tips, jigs and techniques that can be applied to so much more than stool-making. This two hour online course will get you well on your way to making stools for your shop or home. We can’t wait to see where you take it!

 

What you’ll learn:

  • Milling & squaring rough material

  • Drilling round mortises at a compound angle

  • Cutting circles at the bandsaw

  • A jig for scooping the seat

  • Tapering legs

  • Making round tenons with a tenon cutter, by hand, and at the lathe

  • Round mortise & tenon joinery

  • Wedged tenons

  • Finishing with milk paint
